One wouldn’t think, but, there aren’t many more jobs that are more important and more challenging than driving a truck across our great nation. Not only is there a shortage of truck drivers but many wind up sidelined due to drug abuse. There is a lot of pressure on our nation’s truck drivers. In addition to the long hours, they have to eat on the road which mostly means fast food, they don’t get the exercise they need, and a vast majority are in their 50’s or older. This is a problem we all must face together. Be good to truckers today! Let them know how much they are appreciated. Ship Smarter. |
