Another stat is that only 6% of the industry is made up of women.

In an industry that’s growing older by the day, there are a few options to make sure we are not heading for disaster.

Here are a few:
Make the industry more attractive to women by improving necessary facilities at stops
Lower the CDL age requirement
Limit time away from home
Provide better pay

Autonomous vehicles continue to be developed which in time will revolutionize the industry.
