--- title: If You're Not Paying Attention, Champions Can Speak Up On You - MyFreightWorld description: Noteworthy news bullets we thought would inform. MFW makes the wheels of transportation less squeaky. We do this by having an extremely high give a dang level, proactive communication, and shooting straight - even if the news isn't great image: https://blog.myfreightworld.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Race.jpg --- [Skip to content](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2#main-content) ![MYFREIGHTWORLD LOGO-1](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MYFREIGHTWORLD%20LOGO-1.png?width=1499&height=786&name=MYFREIGHTWORLD%20LOGO-1.png) Open main navigation Close main navigation - [Get Quote](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2#Webquote) [Get Quote](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2#Webquote) Jun 2, 2022 5:03:14 AM # If You’re Not Paying Attention, Champions Can Speak Up On You [mike](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/author/mike) Share: [facebook-f icon](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2) [linkedin-in icon](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2) [Twitter icon](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2) [pinterest-p icon](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/link/?url=https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2) [envelope icon](mailto:?body=https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/mfw-social-post-june-2-2022-2) | **MFW Social Posts** June 2, 2022 | | --- | |   IF YOU’RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION, CHAMPIONS CAN SNEAK UP ON YOU ⚾️ On August 2, 1973 no one had yet heard of Kansas City Royal third baseman and future-Hall of Famer George Brett. Gap-toothed and all of 20, toe head George hit a blistering .125 (!) those first 13 games, ensuring anonymity his rookie season. George, of course, would use that miserable performance as fuel as he went on to win three American League batting crowns and the 1985 World Series, so yeah, we’re rather proud of him. 🏈 Similarly, in 2017, few gave much thought to the Kansas City Chiefs 10th overall pick in the NFL draft. 21, a bit slow, and a bench warmer behind starting quarterback Alex Smith, only a clairvoyant could have foreseen the pigskin magician named Patrick Mahomes who would win a Super Bowl in just his third season while changing the game forever with his unorthodox style. Yes, Kansas City is a city of WINNERS, often surprising “the big boys” because of our perceived small market position. The 2015 World Series Champion Royals, anyone? Or the 2022 Kansas Jayhawks winning their fourth NCAA Men’s Basketball title? SO IT’S IMPORTANT TO KNOW … Our beloved city is also home to one of, if not THE transportation and distribution hub in the entire country! This means that we breed transportation pros more so than just about anyone else, and that spells S-U-C-C-E-S-S for you. At #mfw, we not only personify the winning ways of our amazing community, we convert that championship DNA into the best 3PL experience on the planet. So sure, it’s possible you haven’t heard of us. But you will. Competitors envy our growth, but hey, that happens when you treat your customers like gold, providing reliable, industry-leading service all day, every day. Isn’t it time you worked with a champion? #transportation #logistics #freightforwarding | | --- | [#trucking #shipping #supplychain #3PL](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/tag/trucking-shipping-supplychain-3pl), [Social Posts](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/tag/social-posts) ## Related posts [![](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/sum-of.jpg?height=200&name=sum-of.jpg)](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/youre-halfway-through-q4-2022-are-you-prepared-for-whats-ahead) [#trucking #shipping #supplychain #3PL](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/tag/trucking-shipping-supplychain-3pl), [Social Posts](https://blog.myfreightworld.com/blog-posts-myfreightworld/tag/social-posts) ## [You’re Halfway Through Q4 2022.
