Why is that? After all, isn’t freight transportation a 24/7 business?

Well, it turns out that many large 3PLs have a steadfast rule:

“You can only take your laptop home at night  ** IF **  you reach a specific monthly revenue number – a goal that WE will impose on YOU.”

Wow.

Think about that for a moment.

They’ll only give a high level of customer service to their customers IF an account manager happens to achieve some random – achievable or not – quota.

What does that really say about them? More importantly, how do you as a transportation professional FEEL about that?

(that’s right … you, the paying customer, are merely dollars and cents to them)

We at #mfw would never do that to you. Like, EVER. We always take our laptops home!
