MyFreightWorld Carrier Management – Operations Analyst Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a talented, driven Operations Analyst to become a key part of our operation. This is a new role that has been made necessary due to outstanding Company growth in the past several years. This individual needs to be detail oriented, hardworking, reliable, and able to think outside the box and strive to help the Company improve the customer, carrier, and employee experience.

Company Info: Our expertise in the transportation industry dates back more than 20 years in Less than Truckload, all modes of Truckload services, Intermodal, International, and Parcel Consulting Services. We provide logistics solutions for various customers, ranging from large national companies to smaller independent businesses.

Duties include but not limited to:

• LTL Pricing
  • LTL Rate loading
  • Freight Bill Audit/Pay Management
  • TMS Subject Matter Expert, work closely with TMS Supplier
  • RFP analysis and submission
  • Key Customer Account Analysis
  • Customer and Carrier Onboarding
  • Build strong relationships with LTL Carrier Representatives

• TL Pricing
  • RFP Analysis and Presentation
  • Procurement Analysis and Assistance

• CRM Subject Matter Expert
  • Helping set up the CRM to desired status, make sure users are aware of all functions.

• Parcel Software Subject Matter Expert
  • Audit and Recovery
  • Carrier Agreement Optimization

Desired Range of Experience: 0 – 4 years of experience

• LTL/TL experience preferred.
• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
